Jesus Rodriguez was a taxi driver before the pandemic hit,, but lack of work forced him to applied for public assistance and become a stay-at-home dad. But Tragedy had literally hit home earlier; fire consumed his home and he lost everything. His wife worked to support the family while he sought a stable job.

At Goodwill NYNJ, DSPs include Job Coaches, Job Developers, Case Managers, and others who drive our mission of empowering individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment to gain independence through the power of work.
Goodwill Industries of Greater NY and Northern NJ (Goodwill NYNJ) will end an important chapter in its history as the nonprofit organization closes its Astoria headquarters and moves to a new facility in downtown Brooklyn. Effective May 1, 2021, the official address of Goodwill NYNJ will be 25 Elm Place, 3rd Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11201.
