Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey, Inc. is committed to helping individuals who are blind, visually impaired, deaf, or hard of hearing gain independence through the power of work. 

Our programs for job seekers with visual and hearing impairments offer comprehensive evaluations to determine vocational strengths and limitations. After determining work readiness we help participants develop individual employment plans. These plans can include pre-employment counseling, work readiness skills training, and on-site job coaching.  Goodwill is committed to placing visually and hearing impaired individuals in jobs that maximize their talents and skills. Once placed, our staff can offer continued communications assistance between an employee and employer for several months.
