Education and Literacy Services

Education and Literacy Services Are Provided By
Because Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey understands that education is the best way to empower individuals to gain independence and achieve their full potential, we have provided education and literacy services to the communities we serve for nearly 20 years.
In that time, our education programs have continued to grow and there are no age restrictions on those we serve. Goodwill offers services that include vocational training, GED preparation and much more. These programs teach skills that improve everyday life. Goodwill education programs may broaden a child’s horizons, give an adult the skills needed to succeed in the workforce, or acclimate a senior to the latest computer technologies. In this way, we continually expand our services from serving people with disabilities to serving entire communities.
Remember, not all programs allow self-referrals, but additional resources and support are provided when possible.
